Anyone to propose marriage at the 2026 World Cup

This market will resolve to "YES" if at least one marriage proposal is publicly documented at a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue between June 18, 2026, 12:00 UTC and July 19, 2026, 23:59 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO."

A qualifying proposal must be clearly identifiable as a marriage proposal through visible actions such as kneeling, presenting a ring, or an explicit verbal or physical gesture of proposing. The proposal must take place at or inside a World Cup stadium, with the presence of other spectators or match-related activity visible in the footage or reporting, confirming it occurred in connection with an official match or event.

Proposals by fans, players, staff, or any other attendees qualify.

The footage or reporting must be authentic. Digitally altered content, AI-generated media, or staged reproductions will not qualify.

If the relevant information is unavailable for 72 hours after July 19, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO."

The primary resolution source will be credible video or photographic evidence published by an official broadcaster, accredited news outlet, or FIFA's official social media accounts. If such evidence is unavailable, a consensus of credible reporting from major outlets may also be used.
