Goalkeeper substitution to occur in the knockout stage at the 2026 WC

This market will resolve to "YES" if any goalkeeper is substituted on to replace another goalkeeper in any knockout-stage match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup (Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Third-place playoff, or Final). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO."

Concussion, injury, and tactical substitutions all count, provided a goalkeeper replaces a goalkeeper. A goalkeeper entering as a substitute for an outfield player does not count. An outfield player taking over in goal following a goalkeeper's sending-off does not count. Goalkeeper status is determined by the player's officially listed position on the team sheet.

This market will resolve as soon as a qualifying substitution is recorded, or after all knockout-stage matches are completed without one.

If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled or has not been completed by July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO."

The resolution source for this market is the Lineup section of the official FIFA.com match report for the relevant match — however, if the data on the website is unavailable for 72 hours after the relevant match is completed, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.
