Sport FAQs

How do sports prediction markets work?

Each market asks a question and lists an outcome for each answer. A contract on an outcome pays $1 if it happens and $0 if it does not, so a price of 30¢ means traders give it about a 30% chance.

Which sports can I trade?

Football, tennis, American football, basketball, hockey, Formula 1, MMA and cricket, depending on the season. Pick a sport in the sidebar to see its leagues and tournaments.

When do sports markets settle?

After the official result. Football match markets use the score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, NFL games include overtime, and tennis markets go to the player who advances. Each market page has its full rules.

What happens if a game is postponed or canceled?

It depends on the market. Many stay open until the game is played; others resolve 50-50 or No after a deadline. The rule for each case is on the market page.

Can I sell my sports contracts before the result?

Yes. You can sell your contracts at the current price at any time before the market closes. Holding to the end pays $1 per contract if your outcome wins.

Who sets the sports odds?

Traders do. Prices come from supply and demand on an on-chain order book and automated liquidity, not from Limitless. The odds on each market are the current price of each outcome.
