Will Democrats win control of the U.S. House after the 2026 midterms?

Resolution is made by this market's creator. Their rules below are the contract.

This market resolves to Yes if the Republican Party holds at least 218 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives after the November 3, 2026 elections, based on certified results and official seat counts for the 120th Congress. It resolves to No otherwise. Resolution will follow the Associated Press projected majority or the final certified totals published by the Clerk of the House, whichever comes first and is conclusive.
