Will the Tundu Lissu treason case end by September 30?

This market will resolve to "YES" if any one of the following occurs on or before September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM EAT (8:59 PM UTC):

• the three-judge panel delivers a judgment convicting Lissu on the treason count;
• the panel delivers a judgment acquitting Lissu; or
• the prosecution withdraws or discontinues the treason charge by any means, including a nolle prosequi under Section 91 of the Criminal Procedure Act, resulting in Lissu's discharge on that count.

Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO".

A conviction qualifies whether or not sentencing has taken place, and regardless of any subsequent appeal, pardon, or clemency. An adjournment, postponement, ruling on any interlocutory matter, or the trial simply continuing past the deadline does not qualify.

This market will remain open until the case is finally determined, but no later than September 30, 2026.
