Will US federal interest payments reach $1.3T in Q1 2025?

This market concerns the seasonally adjusted annual rate of U.S. federal government interest payments for Q1 2025, as reported by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).

This market will resolve to "YES" if any of the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) quarterly estimates (Advance, Second, or Third) for Q1 2025 report that the seasonally adjusted annual rate of US federal interest payments equals or exceeds $1.3 trillion. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO."

The resolution source will be the BEA's Table 3.2 - Federal Government Current Receipts and Expenditures, line 33 "Interest payments":

If publication is delayed due to a government shutdown or other factors, resolution will be delayed until official data becomes available through BEA.
