CS2 FAQs

How do CS2 match markets settle?

A match market resolves to the team that wins the match. If the match is canceled, ends in a tie or is delayed more than 7 days without a winner, it resolves 50-50. If a team wins by forfeit or disqualification after the match has started, the market goes to that team. The full rules are on each market page.

How do CS2 map winner markets work?

A map market settles on the team that wins that map, even if the rest of the match is not completed. If the map itself is not completed, or the match is canceled or delayed more than 7 days before play starts, it resolves 50-50.

What happens if a CS2 team changes its name?

Markets settle on the real match, not on the exact team name. A rename, sponsor tag, academy label or alternate spelling does not change the result.

Which CS2 events are covered?

Markets follow pro Counter-Strike 2 events as they are scheduled, from online series to majors. The sidebar lists the events with open markets right now.

Can I sell a CS2 position before the match ends?

Yes. You can sell your contracts at the current price at any time before the market closes. Holding to the end pays $1 per contract if your team wins.

Who sets the CS2 odds?

Traders do. Prices come from supply and demand on an on-chain order book and automated liquidity, not from Limitless, so a price of 60¢ means traders give that outcome about a 60% chance.
